WHAT TO EXPECT

We know that visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-wracking. We want to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Our worship service begins with a greeting, followed by announcements, an opening hymn, the Apostles’ Creed, and an introduction to the sermon called “Focus on Worship.” We have a time of sharing our joys and concerns, followed by a moment of silent prayer and pastoral prayer, and then the Lord’s Prayer.Worship continues with the offering and the singing of the Doxology. A short children’s message is presented, and if the kids are lucky, it ends with a treat!Pastor Lance then shares a sermon based on Scripture, which typically lasts 15–20 minutes. Our service concludes with a worship song and a blessing from Pastor Lance.

Holy Communion is served on the first and third Sundays of each month in Mt. Hope, and every Sunday in Wauzeka.

Our dress is casual, so jeans and shorts are common.

We are excited to invite you to see what God is doing in Southwest Wisconsin. We are a devoted church family, committed to building relationships with God and with one another and to helping more people come to know our Lord and Savior.
